On Sunday, 25 August, at 5:30 PM, the Bangladesh Nationalist Volunteers Party (Jatiotabadi Swechchasebok Dal), Australia Chapter, celebrated its 44th founding anniversary with a discussion meeting held at the Lakemba Library Hall in Sydney.
The event was presided over by Mr. Md. Mashiur Rahman Tuhin, Convener of the Nationalist Volunteers Party Australia Chapter, and conducted by Mr. Md. Zahidur Rahman, Member Secretary.
The Chief Guest of the meeting was Mr. Mohammad Omi Ferdous, International Affairs Secretary (Joint Secretary rank) of the Central Committee of the Bangladesh Jatiotabadi Swechchasebok Dal.
Special Guests included Mr. A.F.M. Towhidul Islam, President of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Australia Chapter, and Mr. Ashraful Islam Rony, Organising Secretary of BNP Australia.

Mr. Khaja Daud Hossain, Mr. Ahsan Habib, Mr. Mostafizur Rahman Labu, Mr. Wares Mahmud, Mr. Mohaimen Mishu, and Mr. Pavitra Barua, all Joint Conveners of the Nationalist Volunteers Party Australia Chapter.
Other attendees included Ms. Khadija Rupom, Ms. Azizun Nahar, Mr. Abdur Rahim, Mr. Ruman Ahmed, Mr. Mithu Bepari, Mr. Md. Nur Alam, Mr. Abdul Hannan, Mr. Md. Nurul Huda, Mr. Tanim, Mr. Akhtar Uz Zaman, and many others.
It is noteworthy that the Bangladesh Jatiotabadi Swechchasebok Dal was founded on 19 August 1980 by Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman, the founder of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP).
He established the organization with the vision of creating a platform for volunteers to stand by the people during times of crisis and serve the nation selflessly.
